The MOST Creative Pizza in Rhode Island
Fellini Pizzeria opened its doors in 1989. Located in the historic East Side of Providence, Fellini’s stands out amount all the rest. What makes Fellini’s food fabulous? Call it flair; call it stubborn commitment to outrageous flavor.
At Fellini’s, we start with uncompromised principles of great taste and quality ingredients, then bend the rules. The result? Crusty tradition topped with imagination. Beautiful food that colors just outside the lines-savored by tattoos and ties alike. And fresh? Well, let’s just say the only things that hang around here for long are our customers.
The original Fellini Pizzeria is located in the historical East Side of Providence, at 166 Wickenden Street. It opened its doors in 1989. The owners are Kristy Knoedler along with her mother & father Dick & Jackie Knoedler.
Fellini’s has been one of the top notch pizzerias in Rhode Island. We have won awards such as Rhode Island Monthly’s “Best Pizza of Rhode Island, The Providence Pheonix “Best Pizza of Providence”, Local Eats “Best Restaurant”, & Travel & Leisure Magazine “Top 10 Pizzeria in the USA”. Just to name a few. We have also been featured on the PHANTOM GOURMET!
We pride ourselves on great customer service, consistent top of the line product, our loyal following & excellent work environment. What makes Fellini’s stand out among the rest is our unique menu & fast paced environment. All of our pizzas start on a one of a kind whole wheat crust. Our dough is made fresh daily on site, along with our homemade sauces, ingredients and fresh toppings. We not only give ourselves a pat on the back for the pizza, we take high regard to our artistic sandwiches, & piled high salads. Ohhh, and we can not forget about the desserts….ohhhh…the desserts.
The environment at Fellini’s is an experience in itself. The pizza chefs tossing dough high in the air for all to see, bustling employees, music pumping, & dozens of customers waiting for the best food in town. All while the aroma in the air is to die for! As you can see, a lot goes into the tremendous success of Fellini Pizzeria. We look forward to you being a part of our Fellini Family! The Pawtuxet Village Fellini Pizzeria is Fellini’s second location. It opened in summer 2014.
The Word on the Street…
BEST PIZZA IN PROVIDENCE! Fellini's Pizza is hands down the best Pizza in RI. If you are out on the town having drinks in providence you simply can not end the night with out stopping by Fellini's for a slice of pizza!!! A+++
Seriously good pizza. Located on Wickeden street with it's interesting shops and international restaurants. There are a lot of great pizza choices in providence and Rhode Island, but the pizza and sandwiches at Fellini's are outstanding with a very wide menu selection and unique pizza twists. The interior is cute and cozy. All pizza lovers should definitely stop by.
My 1st experience here at Fellini was during a Friday evening with the place so full My friend and I couldn't even get a seat at the bar while waiting to be seated. Now I realize this sounds like a bad thing, but let me tell you, the service was so attentive I was actually slightly terrified. I don't know where the staff gets their energy, but they are completely on point. While waiting for seating we were offered slices of Chicken Waffle pizza, which on my second visit I learned was only available that one time. (I later cried in my car.) Shortly afterwards my friend and I were seated, allowing us to fully take in, and appreciate how well designed the location is. Most of the place is nautically themed, in a subtle way that doesn't shove Rhode Island down your throat. The film canister flower pots were a nice touch too, but back to the food. The pies here are eclectic and delicious. It can be sometimes difficult to choose, but you win regardless of what you order. The pizzas are pretty big, so if you aren't attending as a group there is a good chance you're going to have a good lunch the following day. They don't serve hard liquor but they have a nice selection of beer and wine. Fillini's is a nice addition to the Pawtuxet area. I'm glad they are open for business.
It's beautiful inside. Great bar, pub tables, low tables, comfy chairs, pizza palace half moon booths on the slice side, kitchen theater ... Pinball... Now: the food. Small Garden salad is GIANT! 3 kinds of olives, banana peppers, marinated mushrooms, roasted red peppers, sliced squash, red onion, shaved parm. INSANITY!!!!! Then one slice with sausage and ... Stuff... And as it was amazing and all it was eclipsed by the Pumpkin pizza. Pumpkin in the sauce, bacon, chicken, spinach. Best slice I've ever had. Literally. Ever. Lovely service. Positive energy. Decent price. I will be returning;-) Great addition to The Village.
